About ICWN
MISSION STATEMENT
We are a non-profit, non-political, and educational organization devoted to serving the Muslim community of West Niagara and promoting the teachings of Islam. Islamic Community of West Niagara (ICWN) was founded in 2022 and registered with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery of Ontario as a religious, educational, non-political and non-profit organization.
ICWN strives to aid the Muslim community to propagate the religion of Islam and help them to maintain all practices in accordance with the teachings of the Al Qur’an Al Kareem and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him).
ICWN Board Members is comprised of 6 Members who direct the affairs of the Association
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To preach and advance the teachings of the Islamic faith and the religious tenets, doctrines, observances and culture associated with the faith.

To establish, maintain and support a mosque with services conducted in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the Islamic faith.

To establish and maintain a religious school of instruction
For the purposes aforesaid, and as incidental and ancillary thereto

​To acquire and hold land for the purpose of worship, residence for its religious leader, a burial ground or cemetery, a school or similar institution of religious instruction.

To print, publish and distribute religious books, magazines, papers and other religious literature directly related to the charitable objects.

To receive and distribute funds from time to time, to charitable organizations that are also registered charities, under the Income Tax Act (Canada) as the need arises.

To assist the homeless and needy members of the society at large.

To promote and encourage mutual understanding and good relations between Muslims and Other Faith Groups, and Cultural communities.
